The plan registration code is used by Ben-Check to determine the pension plan of which you are a member. It is this code that tailors the app to your specific plan, to ensure that only the data relevant to your benefits is shown by the app.
Only plans that are registered with Ben-Check will have an associated plan registration code. Check with your pension plan administrator to see if your plan has been registered.
No. You will only need to enter the plan registration code the first time you use the app. You will not be prompted for this code again (although you can change it by going to the Settings page and clicking the Re-register plan button).
The first time you use the app, you will be prompted for a username and password. For registered users, the plan administrators will provide login data to plan members (or instructions on how to set up this data).
No — you are not required to enter your username and password each time you open the app. However, if you are concerned about the privacy of your personal pension and benefits data, you may log out of the app via the Settings page (by clicking the Clear login information button). Once you have logged out, you will have to re-enter your username and password the next time you enter the app.
If your login information is not working, please contact your plan administrator.
Updates to the Ben-Check app will be posted to the App Store. You will know that an update is available for Ben-Check (or any other app on your iPad) when a red dot with a number appears on the App Store icon. Click on the App Store icon and go to Updates to download the latest update for Ben-Check.
If you encounter any problems while using the app, please contact us at: ecklertech@gmail.com.
